We know you'll enjoy your volunteer experience. Each year, many volunteers tell us they receive so much more than they give the program. By sharing your time with our students and staff you will:
- Be given the opportunity to share your skills and talents.
- Gain a better understanding of how children learn.
- Interact with teachers and other volunteers.
- Know that your efforts directly affect the quality of education for the children of our community.
- Learn valuable new skills to use in future endeavors.
- Be eligible to participate in a Food Share Program. Two hours of volunteer time and $13 in food stamps or cash provides $30 in fresh groceries.
Enroll at host site within your zip code. - Include your automobile's mileage and related volunteering expenses on your IRS tax deduction.
- Be eligible to participate in Retired Senior Volunteer Programs. Members may receive gasoline reimbursement (RSVP).
- Recognition and Rewards - a child's smile is priceless.
Students are actively in community activities and create a better enviroment.
Volunteer assist Creighton teachers and students to improve learning.
Support staff work with teachers and students as role models for our community.
