Creighton Elementary district employees shared how businesses help their schools.

Damon Twist, Principal, Excelencia School:

"Randy Clawson, from APS, was Principal for a Day at Excelencia three years ago. He stays in contact with and sends the school all sorts of information. He also brings three ring binders that APS no longer needs and donates them to Excelencia.

Tonto National Forest, across the street from Excelencia, gives a large donation of school supplies to Excelencia at the beginning of every year."

Rosemary Agneessens, Principal, Creighton School:

"The Arizona Republic with their donation of funds for needed materials, supplies, and field trip opportunities. And their volunteers that give an hour weekly within our first grade classrooms. They bring a consistency of support, level of professionalism, model English and encourage our students."

Mike Madison, Principal, Monte Vista

"The Camelback Kiwanis organization supports our Terrific Kids program and provides Dictionaries for third grade students. Monte Vista received backpack donations from Costco and we are in process of continuing a reading mentor program sponsored by Costco where employees come and work with individual students on a reading program their company developed."
