- A. Learn vocabulary for the home
- Use your textbook
- Use Sra. Arredondo's Backflip
- Access the Quia site titled " the home vocabulary"
- Do the practice activities and practice tests
- Take the final tests when directed by teacher
- Listen to the cassette players using home vocabulary tape
- Make flashcards or vocab lists if you don't have a computer at home
- Learn the verb "tener"
- Listen to teacher presentation
- Use textbook for resource
- Do text and workbook assignments if you need more practice
- Use Sra. Arredondo's Backflip
- Do practice activities at Quia site titled " tener mini quiz"
- Take the final test when directed by teacher.
- Prepare your PowerPoint and Oral Presentation
- Listen to teacher review on how to use PowerPoint
- Use handout or ask teacher if you need more help
- Choose a partner
- Draw a floor plan for your house.
- Create the pair of sentences for each room
- Use description and vocabulary from the chapter ( min. of 2 words per sentence)
- Use the verbs, tener (min. 3 times), hay, estar, ser
- Use quia or Grammar Tutor for practice
- Use text as a resource
- Use the new home activity verbs from the chapter (min. or 5)

- Using PowerPoint Create slides showing the overall floorplan and then a slide for each location
- Add clip art or create drawings to make your rooms identifiable for their purpose
- Add your sentences to your presentations
- Memorize your presentation, equally dividing the oral presentation between partners
- Present your presentation to a small group using the Prisma projector
- Participate in your group's evaluation of your project
- Listen to and evaluate 3 other groups
