Welcome to Gateway School, home of the Geckos! We serve over 850 students in grades kindergarten through 8th. Our school offers a solid foundation in reading, language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science. In addition, our students engage in art, music, physical education and technology learning opportunities. We also provide English language development for students whose first language is other than English.

MISSION STATEMENT
To prepare ALL students at Gateway to be successful in meeting or exceeding the Arizona State
Standards.
In guiding us toward our mission, we believe that:
We must use data and research in brain compatible instruction to determine each student's unique needs.
Our students' learning needs must be the primary focus for all decisions effecting the work of the school.
Gateway teachers, support staff, administrators, parents and community share in the responsibility for ensuring the academic growth for ALL
students, "Sí Se Puede."
