One of Creighton District's goals is to provide students with an education that promotes an understanding of our world, its diverse cultures, and America's relationship with them.
Creighton has developed and implemented a global education program that provides teachers and students with the skills necessary to understand and function in the global economy.
The Junior Ambassador Program is open to 4th through 8th grade students. Students selected to be Junior Ambassadors participate in educational field experiences that can include visits to Washington, D.C., a Phoenix Zoo internship, and exchange activities with students in Japan and Germany. Creighton students host their partners for 4 to 14 days, and then are hosted by their partners in their country.
Our Junior Ambassadors get the opportunity to visit our nation's capital, Washington D.C. After acceptance into the program, they spend the entire year fund raising and learning about the highlights of Washington. Their work culminates in May with a trip that is the experience of a lifetime. Some of the highlights include the Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, the Washington Memorial, the Smithsonian and the Holocaust museum.
