Our Goal
Creighton School District understands that the ability to use technology is a prerequisite for success in the global and digital economy of the 21st century. In the U.S. Department of Education’s national technology plan “Toward a New Golden Age in American Education” is a quote from Dr. Mark Edwards, Former Superintendent of Henrico County, VA Public Schools, stating “Our children can’t wait. The future is now. We need to be preparing them for a future that few of us can even visualize.” At Creighton we are committed to preparing our students for that future. We are dedicated to enabling our teachers to enrich their lessons with technology to address all students learning and to support core instructional aims and to take learning into new realms.
Creighton’s Ed Tech Grant
Our Education Technology Department is largely funded by a state grant that Creighton has been awarded, “Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT)”. To access the 2007-2009 grant application and view the goals and objectives of the grant please click here.
