Q I've forgotten my e-mail password! What should I do?
A Contact your Lab Tech; they know who to call to get it reset.
Q How does technology affect today's students?
A

Technology is allowing today's students to be ultra-communicators and multi-taskers.

They are not just using technology in different ways; they are approaching their lives and daily activities differently because of technology.

The way that students are using technology gets more sophisticated as they get older. But do not underestimate the younger children's capacity for using technology meaningfully.

54% of students in grades 7-12 know more of their friends' instant messaging "screen names" than their home phone numbers.

67% of students in grades 7-12 go online first to research a topic they are studying.

81% of students said that losing access to the Internet would affect their personal lives and their schoolwork.

Q Where can I get specific data about the makeup of the district, my school, or student demographics?
A Contact Mary Blackburn or Lara Janicki in the Data Processing office. They regularly compile data for local, state, and federal reporting.
