Creighton School District

ASSET Program

ASSET is:
A consortium of educators including public school districts, parochial schools, private schools, homeschoolers, and others. The ASSET purpose is to provide teachers and students with the highest quality instructional television courses and "all the trimmings." The consortium allows group purchase of these materials, thus the costs are affordable, even to the smallest school in rural Arizona.

A consortium including instruction in fine arts, foreign language, careers and guidance, business, health, performing arts and the four core curriculum areas of math, science, social studies, and language arts. The courses are divided across grades K-12, with specifically targeted teacher in-service. In some cases, curriculum correlation is provided, outlining specific lessons to fit certain curriculum concepts. The ASSET curriculum is designated to be integrated into teaching presentation by the classroom teacher.

For more information on ASSET, please see the ASSET Videotape Catalog, or call John Quimby or Mary Perrin at the IMC at (602) 381-6050.
