
Phoenix Activity City is a daytime recreation program for school-aged 1st-6th graders in the Central-East Phoenix area (no kindergarten students accepted). Under the supervision of professional recreation staff, youths are provided with a variety of age-appropriate, developmental activities that are fun, stimulating, and enriching!
PAC is considered a \"drop-in program\"-participants are not required to attend every day. Participants must sign in and out ecah day. Participants must follow the program rules, which are reviewed and posted at each PAC site. Failure to follow the rules will lead to disciplinary action, including expulsion with no refund.
PAC provides a structured, supervised environment that reinforces positive growth and development. Each of the PAC sites has its own special program that incorporates the interests of the surrounding community. However, all of the PAC sites follow these basic activities:
Each day participants will have a structured, scheduled, age-appropriate activity along with a period of supervised free time.
PAC meets every weekday from 3 (First dismissal Grades 1-4) to 6:00 P.M., except on Wednesdays when it meets from 2 to 6:00 P.M.
Program registration will be accepted at any Phoenix Community Center.
There is a one-time cost due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. The cost is $30.00 per child.
