Parent SHARE/Participatory Management Team (PMT)
In order to stay abreast of the ever-changing needs of its population, Monte Vista utilizes Participatory Management model. Teachers, parents, and patrons are actively involved in the development and direction of our school's goals and objectives. A primary thrust of Participatory Management has been to develop business partnerships, for it will be through this exchange that we better prepare our students for the 21st century. Curricular, as well as financial issues, are dealt with in an atmosphere that exemplifies the philosophy that change can be best dealt with when you involve all parties affected by that change.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Our PTO is a vital component of the school community. We sponsor many programs and projects for the enrichment of our students and the betterment of our school. An area of emphasis continues to be volunteerism. We would like to strengthen our community involvement through more participation on our campus by thinking of ways that we can work together toward the success of our children's education. We welcome new members and value our hard-working volunteers. PTO meetings are scheduled as needed. Regular PTO updates are part of our PMT/Parent SHARE meetings. We eagerly await meeting you and having another great year at Monte Vista. "When PTO grows, children grow."
